Actuant wins healthy employer award
Milwaukee Business Journal recently published its list of healthiest employers and we’re pleased that Actuant was awarded in their Large Company Category (Companies of 1000+ employees). Winners were decided through a 75-question index that measures organizations’ wellness programs in various categories, including culture and leadership commitment; foundational components; strategic planning; communications and marketing; programming and interventions; and reporting and analysis.
The Business Journal’s focus on Actuant highlights our corporation’s commitment to wellness through our various Menomonee Falls-local and global programs, including weight loss challenges, Get Active programs and education “lunch-and-learns.” You can read a summarized version of the publication feature by going to the Business Journal’s website here.
Actuant believes in the importance of wellness and healthy employees as it correlates to overall happiness of employees, improved engagement and morale, and reduced healthcare costs for the employer and employee.
The Actuant Wellness program began in 2003, and it includes both local and global initiatives.
